Shigar is situated in the heart of the Shigar Valley within the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. This high-altitude settlement is surrounded by the towering peaks of the Karakoram range, featuring a landscape where rugged mountain slopes meet the fertile valley floor carved by the Shigar River.
