Artenara is situated in the high summit area of Gran Canaria, within the Canary Islands archipelago of Spain. Perched at an altitude of over 1,200 meters, it is the highest village on the island, characterized by a dramatic landscape of steep ravines, rugged volcanic cliffs, and dense Canary pine forests. The surrounding rural landscape features traditional terraced fields carved into the mountain slopes, offering breathtaking views of the Caldera de Tejeda and the sacred Roque Bentayga.
