Organic farming area in EU grew 12% in 2025

According to Eurostat, the certified organic farmland in the EU grew by 12% in 2025, reaching 18.4 million hectares. Italy (+19%), France (+15%) and Romania (+22%) led the expansion.

The bloc remains on track to hit its 25% organic target by 2030.
